If it is high however, then the likely hood that the cancer will spread to other areas of the body is likely.

There are also newer types of treatments for prostate cancer that are still in the clinical trial phase which include Chemotherapy, Cryosurgery, Biological therapy and a high intensity form of ultra sound.
